Colonial Point Christian Church is proud to be an official host church for the 2018 Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. The event will take place at more than 350 churches around the world simultaneously on February 9, 2018.
 
Night to Shine will take place in 50 states and 15 countries.

WHAT IS NIGHT TO SHINE?

JOIN US FOR A PROM NIGHT THAT YOU WILL NEVER FORGET! WALK THE RED CARPET, ENJOY THE ROYAL TREATMENT AND DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!

WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE EVENT?

Complete these items prior to getting ready to attend the event:
  • Registration Packet – complete registration and media release for Guest and Guardian/Care Giver. You can begin your registration process by clicking the register link at the top of this page.
  • This is a prom and you are encouraged to dress your best and enjoy the night!
    • GUYS – Wear a suit or rent a tux.
    • GALS – Wear a special dress (prom or other fancy dress) or dressy pantsuit.
  • Corsages and boutonnières will be provided by Colonial Point.
  • Monitor our website for updates and information concerning weather related decisions the night of the event.
  • Continue to check back here for upcoming events that may help you achieve your best evening ever.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT?

Here is a list of some of the things registered Guests will enjoy at Night To Shine:
  • Arrive at the event and check in. You will be paired with a buddy for the entire evening that will make sure you have a fabulous and safe time.
  • Take a ride in a limousine; Walk the red carpet; Have your photo taken like a star!; Get your free corsage/boutonniere; Get your shoes shined or hair and makeup touched up; Enjoy a photo in the photo booth; sing to karaoke; Dance, Dance, Dance; Get crowned King/Queen of the Prom; Enjoy light snacks and beverages; most of all have a great time!!
  • Parents/Care Givers that stay will have a Respite Room where they can relax and enjoy some light snacks and beverages while the guests enjoy themselves.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT?

Now that the Night is over, here are some of the things to finish:
  • Your buddy will check you back to your Parent/Care Giver.
  • You will receive a Gift Bag from The Tebow Foundation.
  • Receive your backdrop photo.
  • An edited DVD will be made to remember the event, and mailed to each of our guests within a few months. You can check the gallery for photo and video highlights from the night after the event when they become ready.
