Our Beliefs

God God is the creator and sustainer of everything that exists. He is one God manifesting Himself in three persons—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These have the same nature, are co-equal and co-existent. (See Genesis 1 & 2; John 14:15-21; Colossians 1:15-20)

The Supremacy of Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is the builder and the "Head" of His church. As the "Body of Christ" (The Church) we submit to His ongoing leadership. (Colossians 1:15-20; Matthew 16:18)

Biblical Truth We hold that The Bible was originally written without error and contains God’s complete message and remains relevant and the final authority for us today and therefore we teach it without hesitation. (Psalm 119:89,105; 2 Timothy 3:16,17, 1 Peter 1:25)

Prayer We rely on prayer, both corporate and private, as the foundation for all aspects of ministry. Prayer is simple communication with our Heavenly Father that is available to everyone. (Luke 11:9-10, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Grace We will extend grace at all times. Grace is God’s free gift or unmerited favor toward us and because we have received His grace we seek to share that same grace with others. (Ephesians 2:8, 4:7)

The Church We value the Church, which was established to fulfill Jesus Christ’s mission following His return to Heaven. We desire unity within the body of Christ and seek to restore and maintain that unity. (John 17:20-23, Colossians 3:14)

Love & Concern for Others We commit to loving our neighbor as ourselves. A neighbor is anyone who has a need in his or her life. We demonstrate our love through faithful prayer and by the use of means entrusted to us by God. (Matthew 22:37-40; Luke 10:29-37)

Discipleship We will assist believers to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. A disciple is one who faithfully follows Jesus Christ in all facets of their life. (Matthew 28:19)

Ministry of All Believers We fully support the involvement and ministry of all believers. Since every believer has been given a spiritual gift from God that enables them to work and minister within the body of Christ, we will help believers find that gift and use it for the good of the church. (I Peter 2:9, 4:10)

Salvation We believe that we are sinners saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). It is God’s undeserved grace that He made available to us through the work of Jesus Christ. Our response needs to be that of complete and saving faith. Saving faith involves: Belief (John 3:16,36), Repentance (Acts2:38), Confession (Romans 10:9), and Baptism (Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21).
